WATCH SERVICING AND RESTORATION

Perhaps you have a watch running slow and now looking to have it serviced, or in more severe cases needing a full restoration. You can always get in contact with me here to discuss further natecharlesinfo@gmail.com But if you're after some basic info and prices that you could incur then here's what you should know.

A service will include a full strip down of the watch down to its base components. The parts are then cleaned and removed of any old oils and greases. Parts that are subject to wear that could compromise its function are replaced and the watch is reassembled and oiled/greased. As a part of the service the watch case is also cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaning tank to remove any dirt before being dried and cased up with the movement. Once working, the watch has its time keeping adjusted if needed and tested over a 24h period.

Other additional options beyond this would include a valet/polish best possible on the case and bracelet. New glass, crown, strap and other cosmetics.

Those after full restorations may also be interested in the dial restored, which is also something that can be done.

Prices:

Manual wind watch service- £120

Automatic watch service- £150

Chronograph watch service- £180

Valets- £30

(These are the ballpark prices to expect but subject to change based on the watch)

Prices for items such as glasses, crowns and straps vary depending on the make and model of the watch.
